This week I finally did something I should have done a long time ago... I got a bank account in the Kansas City area. My current bank is a St. Louis based credit union. So, I finally went to get an account with a bank that was closer than 4 hours.

While going through the process of signing up, I learned a lot about the lady helping me. She's Catholic. Has been to mass at Holy Trinity. Loves the parish, loves the priest. But hasn't been to mass for a while because she broke up with the dude who took her there every week. By the end of my visit, I had a new bank account and had someone convinced the lady to go back to church.

It's so amazing how when you least expect it, you get the chance to share your faith with someone. (I'm beginning to realize it happens a lot more now that I work for a church) (: and it's even more amazing when you realize your sharing was helpful. It just didn't go in one ear and out another. It kinda makes you wanna share more
