Chris' prayer: Veggie Tales' "I Must Have It"

I don't like these, I don't need these.
I don't want these any longer.

My affection for those duckies isn't getting any stronger.

I think it is easy to listen to this song, to watch this video, and pick out how unlike God King George is. He doesn't value the duckies that he has at all, and doesn't want to concern himself with them. It stands in stark contrast to the Love that God bestows upon us. God loves each one of us so madly that He wouldn't comprehend losing affection for us.

But I think that there is another side to this, too. King George is willing to leave behind all the duckies he does have for that one ducky out there that he wishes was his. Does that sound familiar at all? What if the ducky was a sheep? Would it sound a little more like the shepherd who leaves his flock behind in search of the one missing sheep?
