I sometimes struggle with inviting people to partake in spiritual activities. With the teens it is easy; it's kind of part of my "job." But with my friends, acquaintances, coworkers, and family, it is a lot harder for me to actively pursue them. I am more than happy to share my faith if asked, and to answer any questions they may have, but I find it hard to find the right words, the courage, the strength...something...to bring it up, or to press the issue at all. One of the things that I like most about myself– that I can be comfortable around anyone and make others feel comfortable– is one of the things that keeps me from rattling the boat, from actively pursuing the sharing of my faith.
