Chris' prayer: Casting Crowns' "Praise You with the Dance"

You know what Christian music needs more of? Fiddle solos! There just aren't enough songs where artists just straight break it down with the fiddle. More fiddles, I say!

I'm being a bit facetious in saying that, but at the same time, I really like that part of the song. It just feels right for this song, this time. It probably wouldn't work on a thousand other songs, but for this one, it seems to. And that is pretty cool.

I don't know how many times I've thought about about people I know or have met. Whether it be a pair of glasses, or they way someone laughs, a particular word they use, or a hobby they pursue, I've often thought, "Not everyone could pull this off, but for some reason, here, with this person, it just works." When I'm able to recognize these things, I come to a deeper appreciation, acceptance, and even love for him or her. I feel closer to them.

And now, each time I find one of those things, I'll think of this song.
