When hope has disappeared
And your heart aches
You might not recognize
The touch of grace
When I'm going through a rough time, I have a hard time seeing the good things in life. I hate it, but I tend to focus on what the problem, and not see just how great I have it. The worst is when I'm struggling with my faith. When I can't see God's love perfectly clear, I tend to block out all of the little things that would point to his love. I'm unable to recognize his love and grace because it isn't always in the form that I thought it should be in.
I hope that when I go through these rough times, I'm able to focus on the little things that show God's love. I hope that focusing on these things will help me to see the bigger picture, and again realize his love.
