Megan's prayer: Matt Maher's "Sophia"

I attended my great great aunt's funeral today. I didn't know her all that well, so I expected the funeral to be somewhat emotionless for me. I was wrong.

While I was sad to have lost a family member, today I felt mostly joyful. The priest at the funeral had an amazing homily, and I left feeling so excited for my great great aunt - knowing she was hanging out with Jesus.

What's even better is to know that we don't have to wait for death to be able to be with Jesus. We can be with him through the Eucharist. We are able to have that heavenly experience - we are able to be with Jesus.
