Megan's prayer: Kutless' "All the Words"

all of my love
which is nothing to hide
so I lift up my hands and I worship
I worship you
I don't like doing hand motions to songs in Church. To me, it feels forced, and it doesn't enhance my experience. I enjoy watching others around me do it, but I'm not comfortable doing it.

Apparently that didn't matter yesterday. As the last song of mass started, all the teens started dancing around. During the refrain to the song, they all threw up their hands. I was enjoying just the singing to praise God, but apparently Chris didn't think it was enough. As the refrain came around a second time, Chris grabbed my arm - forcing me to participate.

We all looked silly. I think that was my initial inhibition as to why I didn't do it - but I was forced to get over that. Who cares how silly I looked? As today's song says "all of my love which is nothing to hide." I guess this means I'll be doing motions more often.
