The kids got mass points everyday for how loudly they sang, spoke, if they kept mass hands and avoided lazy butt. And if they got 10 mass points by the end of the week, they would get to "sundae" one of the teachers. Basically put sundae topings all over them. So myabe their motivation for singing loudly was a tad different than, lets say, my motivation for singing loudly. Regardless of their reasoning, the singing was absolutely beautiful. Half of them were no where near being in key, some were singing slower than others, some louder, and it was a complete mess. But in that complete mess was complete beauty. Those kids were singing from their hearts. They didn't care that they were out of tune, they didn't care that they were off beat, they didn't care what the person next to them was thinking or doing, all they cared about at that moment was singing at the top of their lungs. We cry HOLY HOLY HOLY!
You know, kids have a lot to learn from adults. But I would also argue we have a lot to learn from them.
We cry holy holy holy
We cry holy holy holy
We cry holy holy holy
We cry holy holy holy
We cry holy holy holy
We cry holy holy holy
We cry holy holy holy
We cry holy holy holy
We cry holy holy holy
We cry holy holy holy
We cry holy holy holy
We cry holy holy holy
We cry holy holy holy is the Lamb
