Chris' prayer: Newsboys' "Love Liberty Disco"

I've owned this song for many, many years, but I have never made it past the opening synthesized part. Makes me hit the next track button every single time. I found out tonight, however, that the song isn't nearly as bad as I expected, and is actually kind of catchy. It seems like a song that would be good to cut loose to, and do the kind of dancing you do where you know you look silly, but do it anyway. In fact, it is sticking itself in my head as I type this, and I know that I'm going to fall asleep repeating the chorus to myself. I have judged this book by its cover.

I hope that I don't do that with people, but I'm not sure why they would be any different. I'm sure that I make judgments about them, failing to look past the opening bars, seeing what lies inside. My prayer for tonight is that I may get better about getting to know those around me and breaking down the first impressions/stereotypes/prejudices that I have.
