Megan's prayer: Jump5's "Wonderful"

I find that a lot of my focus in my faith life right now is about God's love for me. I'm currently reading the book If God is Love by Philip Gulley and James Mulholland. Many of the songs I have encountered during prayanewsong have dealt with God's perfect love for me. I talked with a friend recently about the different ways that we both feel God's love in our life.

Today's song gave me a chance to reflect on my love for God. The song simply states all of the jumbled thoughts floating around in my head.

I'll never have the words enough to tell you how I feel.

I have a hard time putting my love for God into words. Sometimes it comes out through the songs I sing at Mass, but those aren't my original words. I'm just hoping my love is being able to be seen through those words I am singing.

More than just the singing, I hope that I am able to show my love for God through my actions. I try hard to be kind to others, help those in need, and share the talents God has given me with others.

I hope the saying is true that "Actions speak louder than words."
