for our Lord God Almighty reigns
Today got to attend a wonderful retreat for parish staffs throughout the diocese. The whole day was focused on prayer. There was lots of good information, good talks, and very enjoyable, but also a little exhausting. By the end, I was a little “prayed out.” So I was not really looking forward to praying tonight - it’s how I spent over half my day. So it was nice to have a song where I didn’t really have to think. I don’t have to try to hard to figure out how this works into my life. The whole song is just praising God. And even after being “prayed out,” it’s always great to spend some time praising God.
