Where You lead me I will follow
WHen I ask for God’s help with Confirmation Class, or Youth Group, or PSR - He always sends great ideas my way. (usually during Adoration). Two days before the Confirmation retreat, I got the idea to put in their letter packet a letter from God, and the results were amazing. Over half the changes I’ve made to the Confirmation program have been because God gave me the idea. He does such a great job leading me in my professional life, I’ve got no complaints.
Where I do have complaints - there’s like no leading from God for my personal life! There’s a situation that I’ve been asking God about for weeks. Weeks! And I still have not gotten a reply! Not a “yes”, not a “no”, not a “try this”, I got nothin. It’s starting to get a little frustrating. I mean, I know God’s there, and I know He can speak to me if He so desires - He does it all the time with my professional life. Why in the world does He not do the same for my personal life?!
Dear Jesus, You know what my prayer is. It’s been my prayer for a few (dozen) weeks now. Part of me doesn’t even care what the answer is anymore - I just want an answer. Please.
