To be a sanctuary
As I was listening to the song, I couldn’t help but thing of the Bible verse 1 Cor 6:19... “Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirt within you.” Then I couldn’t help but be reminded of my day... I meant to go on a prayer/exercise walk/run this afternoon - didn’t happen. And really, I had no excuse. It was beautiful outside, I was dressed for it, I had nothing else of importance to do the rest of the afternoon. But instead of going out, I stayed in, working on a bunch of things that really could have waited. Tomorrow, I’m not working and I’m getting another chance to do better. Dear Jesus, help me to be better.
