I see the moon, a million stars are out tonight
Gentle reminders of the way You are
I don’t know why, but recently, I have become very aware of the beauty of nature. I mean, I’m always aware of it. But sometimes, it’s just more powerful than others. Like Tuesday when I was driving into work. The sky with the sun coming through the clouds and still some of the colors from sunrise near the horizon. At one point, I actually had to remind myself to pay attention to the road and my driving! Yesterday, the weather was just so beautiful, perfect temperature. The wind, maybe a bit powerful, but still felt so wonderful. I’m super excited for this weekend because I’ll be going to this place that is so far from big city lights that I’ll actually be able to see the stars. Sometimes it’s nice to stop and really pay attention to these things. Nice gentle reminders of the beauty that God creates. Gentle reminders that the same beauty lies in everything and everyone God creates.
