This past Sunday, Confirmation classes started back up again. I think it was divine intervention that the topic was Mary on the feast of the Assumption! (: We talked about how Mary’s purpose is to lead people to her Son. If you’re going to Mary just to go to Mary, then something’s wrong. Thinking about it, that’s how we’re supposed to be too. If people are coming to youth group to see me, then something’s wrong. And really, I shouldn’t care if the teens like me, if they come to see me or not. I should care if they are getting to know God! I hope I do a good job of bringing the teens to God and not to me.
