Katie's prayer: Chris Tomlin's "Forever"

It’s interesting. At the beginning of the song, all the lyrics are “Forever God is faithful, forever God is strong, forever God is with us.” At the end of the song, the lyrics are “Forever You are faithful, forever You are strong, forever You are with us.” The song goes from this singing about God to singing to God. I think this blogging project has helped me to really make that transition in my life. I used to do a lot of singing about God. But now, I’m singing to God. I’ll admit, there are still times when I mindlessly sing along. But it’s getting better. I pray one day I won’t have to remind myself to actually pray the songs.
