Chris' prayer: Matt Maher's "You Were on the Cross"

I love songs that have resolutions built right into them. One of my favorites of these would be David Crowder Band's "You're Everything," where there first verse and refrain are a set of questions that are answered- fulfilled- by the second. This song, too, resolves itself by the end, again answering the questions that are posed at the beginning.

I think I like these kinds of songs because they give me hope. There are so many questions about life, spirituality, Christianity, God, everything, that I would like to know the answer to. But having these questions answered isn't as easy as asking them all the time. Sometimes, the answers just need to come in time, when I'm truly ready to hear- and understand- the answer. Hopefully, those answers will be revealed to me before the end of my song.
