Nobody said it would be easy
After next Tuesday, I will have gone on 12 interviews for teaching positions. Currently, I have not received any job offers. Each and every day I search online for new openings, and am disappointed to see there are no new openings. I knew this was going to be a rough road, but I'm so ready for it to end. Nobody every told me that finding a job was going to be a piece of cake, but I really wish that it was.
But the one who brought us here
Is never gonna leave us alone
I'm hearing this coming from a dozen different sources lately. Books I read, talks I listen to, songs I hear, prayers I say - they all remind me God isn't just going to leave me. It may take another dozen (or 2 dozen) interviews before I find the job that is right for me, but I'm willing to go through that. With God on my side, I'm ready for anything.
