I can see a light that is coming for the heart that holds on

This is just such an excellent way to lead our lives. Total acceptance, confidence, faith, and patience. It is admittedly hard to possess all, or even any sometimes, of these values. It makes me think of this C.S. Lewis quote: "When we are wholly His we will be more ourselves than ever." These things are hard but when we are able to surrender to them and to His Plan, things will be better than we can ever imagine.
