Chris' prayer: Steven Curtis Chapman's "For the Sake of the Call"

I guess it should be no surprise to me that a good number of the songs lately have been about choosing to follow God's plan. That seems like it would be a pretty common topic for Christian music. And maybe it is just that I haven't been paying close enough attention lately.

But I'm getting there. I'm hearing it more and more, both in these songs and in everyday life. I'm feeling more the call to follow Him wherever He leads, to trust in His plan for me. Tonight's song, of course, affirms that. Time (and the depth of my trust) will tell to what extent I'll be able to hand over the reins and follow with reckless abandon.
