Chris' prayer: Matt Redman's "You Never Let Go"

And I can see a light that is coming for the heart that holds on
I was talking with my girlfriend tonight over dinner about a variety of things. Somehow, in the course of the conversation, I brought up how a member of my family and several of my friends are all shacking up with their significant others, and how convenient that is. They get to share all of the expenses with their significant others, and as a result, both ends of the relationship end up richer. They also, by nature, spend much more time together throughout the week. "It sucks sometimes, having morals," I told her.

And it's true. It does. Life would be easier if I believed that cohabitation was acceptable for my relationship. But I have to trust that staying true to what I believe in isn't in vain. I have to trust that there is a light that is coming for those who hold onto what they believe in and that, someday, I will receive my blessings. And I have to believe that those blessings with be glorious, beyond all compare.
