Isn't it beautiful? Isn't it marvelous?
The God of the universe, He became one of us.
There is nothing more beautiful than acts done out of love for someone. I see it all the time in parents and their kids. Parents will do something that may not be fun for them, but they do it because they love their child and want the best for their child. I also see it in kids doing things for their parents. Whether it is drawing their mom a picture, or trying to dress just like their dad does, kids are pretty good at showing love through their actions.
I think our faith needs to be more like this - a two-way street of love. God has given, and still gives continuously, His love for us. He can down and became one of us. He is the creator of Love. What needs to happen more often is for us to give that love back to God through our actions. Doing things to try to please God to show our love for him.
Love that goes both ways is so much more intense and intimate. Why wouldn't we want that with God?
