One of my overused quotes comes from Mother Teresa “Each one of them is Jesus in disguise.” It normally comes out of my mouth when someone is being mean to someone else. Physical harm or emotional harm, whatever. It pops into my mind when I get the urge to cause harm to them - even thinking bad thoughts about them. “They are Jesus” I keep repeating in my mind. But I think I often forget about the opposite side of this phrase. Jesus is inside me! Jesus is inside all of us! Not just so we’ll be nice to each other. But to also show each other Jesus. If that makes sense - probably doesn’t. So everyone I encounter, I should be doing more than just being nice to them, I should be learning from. Learning about Jesus by the way they act and actually finding and seeing the Jesus in them. And I should be striving myself to actually show Jesus to others by the way I act.
