Amazing love, how can it be
That You, my King, should die for me?
This is probably one of the hardest questions in my faith life. Why should Jesus have to die for me? Am I really worth it that he would give up his life for me? Sometimes, I'm not sure. I'm not sure that I'm a good enough person for Jesus to do that for me. He didn't just do a quick favor to help me out, the continue his life... he gave his everything for me, and for all of my brothers and sisters. This is truly the ultimate sacrifice.
Although I may question my worth, what I do know is the truth. Whether or not I think I'm worth it, God thought I was. God loves me so much that he was willing to give his son's life for me. I shouldn't ever question my worth because I should be able to see so clearly my worth though this amazing act of love.
