Amazing love, how can it be...Amazing love, I know it's true
For Lent, both parishes are offering two different Bible studies. Sadly, because of timing issues, I can only attend the one. It's called "Great Catholic Answers" and is all about Apologetics. I think the thing I love most about it is that it's being led by a former Protestant. And not just any Protestant, a pretty strong Protestant (trying to convert those crazy Catholics to become Protestants and such). As of 2008 (I think) he's now a pretty strong Catholic. So amazing, but anyways...
Tonight's topic was on the Eucharist. Going through some questions Protestants have. Are you sure it's not just symbolism? Where in the Bible does it even say this? And how can this really happen? We really only got through half the plan, so there are still some unanswered parts. But a lot of what's in the Bible is Jesus flat out telling us that we probably won't fully understand it, but just have faith, trust Him! How can it be? I just know. I trust in God. I have faith.
I realize this isn't exactly what the song it talking about, but when you take the above lyrics out of context, it goes with my experiences today, and thus my prayer for today. (:
