Katie's prayer: J.T. Murrell's "Praise Awaits You"

Seasons come and seasons go
But You remain
So unchanging, all deserving of our praise.
Fr. had an amazing homily this past Sunday! He was talking about photographs and home movies and the emotions they can bring in us. And, that while they are amazing, they lack in one way. You can grasp a photo of a newborn baby and recall all the memories. The adorable faces, nasty diapers, unceasing crying, etc. But no matter what you do, that baby is going to grow, and you can't bring back that adorable, crying, poo-maker. Before you know it, that baby is going to be a teenager and then moving out, going to college, getting married, and having little babies of their own. Our world is always changing, always moving. Today is completely different from yesterday. Different experiences that shape my life differently. But the amazing thing is that God is always the same. Always loving me, always forgiving me, always working for my salvation. So I guess in a sense, there is one thing in my life that never changes.
