Praise awaits You in this place today, O LordWhenever possible, I try to get to church stuff early, whether that be Mass, Adoration, a Praise and Worship session, a Life Night, a retreat, everything. I like to spend a little extra time mentally preparing myself for what is about to happen. As a very fortunate side effect, it also makes me more eager for the event. Many times, I get to the point where I am on the edge of my seat, waiting for whatever it is to start. I am so ready, so eager to praise my God.

That joy, that anticipation, is what tonight's song is about. It is about what is deep inside us, at our very core, ready to leap out if we let it.
