Megan's prayer: Jars of Clay's "Sad Clown"

I find that I struggle quite often with the songs by Jars of Clay that are on this blog. Although I enjoy them, I can't ever seem to focus on the words. Rather, they just become background music while my mind drifts to other things.

This is exactly what happened with today's song. Although I listened to it quite a few times, spent lots of time with the lyrics, and did a combination of them both, I never really felt anything hit me. I know I got in some good prayer time today, but I'm not sure that I gained any understanding from it.

I guess this is okay. I guess sometimes we all have days like this.
