You're here, and I'm never alone
It's amazing to me how God can work through other people. For the longest time, I felt quite alone as a youth minister, because the other youth ministers surrounding me weren't the most positive people. (I know I've blogged on this before) But today, I realized I'm not the only one. We had our secret northland youth minister's meeting. All the youth minister the other northland youth ministers don't like got together for a meeting. It was amazing! We talked for like 4 hours, (maybe like an hour just socializing) but it felt much more productive, much happier, and seemed like less time than the other 3-hour meetings I went to with the other group. I began to learn so much from their experiences! And for the first time since becoming a youth minister, I walked away from a meeting happy! I'm not alone! I hope these secret meetings continue, though I don't know how much longer they can stay secret. (:
