Chris' prayer: FFH's "One of These Days"

One of these days

This is one of my favorite sayings. I say it all the time with regards to all kinds of things- books I need to read, places I would like to go, things I would like to learn, people I would like to get to know better.

One of the longest "one of these days" running for me is my personal "identity." I've had my domain name picked out and registered for about five years, but if you visited the site, you'd see it is pretty sparse. The main reason for this is that I have been waiting, and waiting, and waiting, do develop a logo around the concept of the site. I have tried on and off for those five years to come up with something that I've liked enough to run with. One of these days, I'd tell myself, I'm going to sit down and do it.

Well, I did finally come up with something that I sort of liked, something that I felt had promise. So, I sent it to a few friends of mine to see what they thought, to have them critique it, in hopes of making it better. And, like good friends, good feedback they gave. So, now the logo needs some more work, but suddenly I'm not much interested in making those edits. It is quickly falling back into one of those "one of these days" situations and I need to save it before it does.

I hope that I can find the motivation to do just that.
