Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it,I have been in my relationship now for more than 18 months- my longest relationship ever. And though it has been tough some times, I couldn't ever, ever, ever imagine cheating on my girlfriend. It just isn't something that is part of my reality.
Prone to leave the God I love
How strange it is, then, to consider how likely I am to wander from my relationship with God. In fact, often times I don't even give that a second thought. I leave Him all the time to pursue my selfish exploits, stopping "home" occasionally only to say hi. There is no faithfulness in this relationship, at least from this direction. I am badly in need of the grace that is sung of in this song.
