Chris' prayer: Cheer Up Charlie's "More"

I love you more than the things that you think you've done that could keep you from me.

I need this reminder occasionally. Okay, perhaps more than occasionally. I need to know often that I am loved, and more specifically, that I am loved despite my sinfulness, despite my unworthiness, despite my failures. I need to know that I can be picked up, that I can be held, that I can be loved again.

Tonight's song was a most welcome reminder.
