Chris' prayer: Big Daddy Weave's "You're Worthy of My Praise"

Last night before Exalt, I sat in my car with my girlfriend belting out a praise and worship song we both absolutely love. It was a great start to what would be a great evening, and a great way to get in the mood for Jesus. We were both singing, and I was dancing while she laughed at my....um..."uniqueness."

That instance was not the first time we had sung and danced to praise and worship music, nor will it be the last. It was not the first spiritual moment we have shared, and it, too, won't be the last. The thing I love most about our relationship is that it is built around our faith- it is God centered- and takes two equal parts.

This song is the same way. In the first verse, the man leads while the woman echoes, and in the second verse, the roles are reversed. Both parts are not only valued, both parts are essential. Even more essential is that this song is focused on God, in worshiping and praising Him.
