I really like the idea of being "madly in love." The word "madly" just seems to express so much emotion - somewhat crazy, irrational emotion. I think God is madly in love with me. He sent his only son to die for me. He forgives me no matter what I do.
If that is what is means to be madly in love with someone, I'm not doing such a great job. My love is far from perfect. My love is sometimes selfish. I find it hard to forgive sometimes.
I believe I am called to love as God loves.. I guess I should work on that.
