Katie's prayer: Matt Maher's "Heart of Worship"

I absolutely LOVE this song. Always have, and I think I always will. There is one thing I dislike about this song though... the point at Mass it's typically sung (at least at St. Cletus). It's the song that gets tacked on after all the planned music for Communion and there's still need for music. Heart of Worship is one of the like 4 songs that gets pulled out to fill that need. I mean, it's great there, but here's why I dislike it there...

This song is such a great song to pull me out of doing all those things I shouldn't be doing and pulling me in to focusing more on God (the reason for the Mass in the first place). This song doesn't get sung til near the very end of Mass. Thus not bringing me back to my senses until near the end. I need something in the beginning or at least the middle to bring me back in early. But that's not when the song is played. Now, I just got a brilliant idea (probably God inspired). I have to drive 15-30 minutes to get to church (depending on which one I go to). What I need to do is make a playlist of such songs that bring me into the moment, burn a cd of this playlist, and listen to this cd on my way to Mass! (It's kinda late, and I'm kinda tired, so here's hoping I remember that tomorrow!)
