Here I am againTwice Crowder sings this line, once at the beginning of the song and then once again at the start of the second verse. In between, he sings of placing his hope and his trust in God, and yet, by the second verse, he is back to his old ways, broken, beaten. Despite putting all of his faith in his Lord, he is still in need of God's grace, love, and mercy.
Things don't suddenly get easier when one becomes a Christian. Often times, they even appear to get harder, coming complete with a whole list of rules to follow and so many people just waiting to see us trip up and fall. And when that happens, we must pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, and again submit to God, putting ourselves in Him.
