I love when madly is used in this way. According to the dictionary, madly means "with extreme intensity," or even better, "in a wild and uncontrolled manner." So, to be madly in love with someone requires an extreme, intense amount of love given in a wild and uncontrolled manner. How many people do I love this way? One? Two? Ten? Because I'm called to love everyone this way. And in doing so, I will fall madly in love with God.
